Welcome to my e-Portfolio

This e-Portfolio is to demonstrate how I have fulfilled the competencies outlined by the School of Library and Information Sciences at San Jose State University to fulfill the requirements of a Masters Degree in Library and Information Sciences.

This e-Portfolio has served as a moment of enlightenment. It has caused me to reflect on the lessons I have been taught and experienced as I strive to emerge from this program as a librarian. I find myself recounting the story of Siddhartha Gautama, the historical Buddha. He brought many experiences, vocations and concerns with him as he sat one day underneath a bodhi tree. While underneath that tree, he was able to synthesize his thoughts, and for the first time gain a true understanding of the universe in which he lived.

I would like to share with you the enlightenment I have gained while I have sat beneath the bodhi tree of librarianship. I will be sharing with you my philosophies, mingled with those of my ascended masters (professional librarians and faculty whom I respect), and tales and proof of my own accomplishments that have helped me obtain my understanding of the library universe.
